I Bet It Was A Massacre was a post-hardcore band formed in 2008 in Tuscon, Arizona, United States. They released 8 Rules for the Pool in 2009. The band split up in 2010.

Formed in October of 2008, I Bet It Was A Massacre combines music that inspires them from The Black Dahlia Murder to Lady Gaga and fans can hear their wide range and love for music. Without a specific genre, the music mostly incorporates electro into a screamo/metal style of music with hardcore breakdowns.

Within a few months, IBIWAM acquired a van, a trailer and started doing weekend warrior tours every weekend. They have traveled from El Paso to Las Vegas to San Diego and everywhere in between, playing they're hearts out every night, and some nights driving 12 hours right after a show just to get to the next location.

In July of 2009, after being a band 9 months, they self-released an EP titled "8 Rules For The Pool. The EP was recorded at Og7 Studios(The Bled) in Tucson, Arizona and it is distributed through iTunes, Napster, Amazon.com, Bigcartel.com, Limewire, and STM Online (A Japanese Version of Smartpunk.com)

Even though their first show was in late January of 2009, they have already shared the stage with Sky Eats Airplane, Eyes Set To Kill, In Fear and Faith, The Irish Front, The Word Alive, Liferuiner, Bless The Fall, The Bled, A Skylit Drive and Attack Attack! Besides playing with all these national acts, they were selected as an Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands winner to play Warped Tour 2009 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Now in 2010 IBIWAM has taken a hiatus and returned to just play music once again. No attempts at making it big.

We are here for Tucson and for ourselves. Were going to have fun and we don't care about anything else but melting faces. We love you. Kisses!
