Grigory Gladkov is a Russian composer and singer-songwriter. He is chiefly known for his children's music and scores to such animation films as Plasticine Crow, Last Year's Snow Was Falling etc.; also writes music to modern Russian poetry (by Al. Kushner and others). His creative work is remarkably full of both lyrical and optimistic feeling.

Grigory Vasylyevich Gladkov was born 18 July, 1953 in Khabarovsk, USSR. Then he had lived in Bryansk where he graduated from Bryansk Technical University in 1975. He moved to Saint-Petersburg (Leningrad back then) later, and became the student of a music school (grad. in 1980) and Saint Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy (grad. in 1984). Although supporting a rural way of life, Gr. Gladcov currently lives in Moscow.

A fruitful author and indefatigable performer (he often tours both Russia and abroad), Gr. Gladkov has a title of Merited master of the Arts in Russia.
