Д.и.в. | en

Previously known as ДИВ (DIV), but Lisiy put dots in name for style (like W.A.S.P.).

Vocalist is active on the russian nazi movement and many nazi underground projects. D.I.V.'s lyrics and album covers reflect that as well. Lysyi (Taydakov) has participated in projects with Adolf Castle, Korrozia Metalla and its guitarist became new player [temp?] for D.I.V. (Maxim Lajko, 2004). Many say that it was his (Taydakov's) influence that changed Korrozia's style to NS punk/oi mix with thrash.

But anyway, originally it was something like Slayer/Pantera thrash-metal without any nazi-themes (Дьявольский Шабаш, Devil's Sabbath). Later Lisiy decided to put some nazi thematic in some songs from Mein Kampf (Моя Борьба) and Russian Frost (Русский Мороз) albums and their covers. But the Pantera style remained in Mein Kampf and Russian Frost. Later all the members left and Lisiy became alone. His others solo-albums were without any previous style, with industrial metal and plagiarism from videogames' soundtracks and some metal bands. Futhermore, all Lisiy's solo-albums have white power theme and the last (Умирай, Die) contains suicide theme. All those solo-albums have received well by the nationalists and banned in Russian Federation.

One of the past members, Victor Lemkov, made new band in 2010, called ДИВУЛ (DIVUL). In 2013 he made the first album, И Аз Воздам (I Will Repay), contains remake of Дьявольский Шабаш (Devil's Sabbath) and some new Slayer-style songs. This band has nothing the same with modern Д.И.В., only with Дьявольский Шабаш (Devil's Sabbath). .
