"Dymna sumish" was formed in 1998 in Chernihiv, Ukraine. The music of this band is a mixture of real rock, grunge, hardcore, punk and psychedelic music.

Psychedelic of “Dymna sumish” is a completely natural phenomenon. The guys don’t use any “stimulants”. They don’t smoke, don’t drink alcohol, don’t use drugs. “Dymna sumish” musicians Sasha Chemerov and Sergey Martynov don’t even drink tea and coffee. All members of the band are vegetarians.

First album, named “You’re alive” («Ти живий») “Dymna sumish” released at summer 2005. It was recorded during the live performance of the band. The guys decided to record the second album “The Land of illusion” («В країні ілюзій») in an original way too. “Dymna sumish” returned to the technology of stereo recording. Two hours of live performance at the studio. Four musicians. Four microphones. And extremely honest sound as a result. “The Beatles” recorded their early albums in that way. So “Dymna sumish” did. Because this musicians have no need for post-recording improvement of the sound. They are not afraid of live performance. You should visit at least one “Dymna sumish” concert in order to get that.

Sasha Chemerov had been dreaming to record an album in such uncommon way. Because of his passion to 60s-70s psychedelic rock. The dream came true in the Land of illusion. Dymna sumish already filmed music videos for two songs on this album. The first one – “The land of illusion” – was directed by famous Ukrainian director Victor Pryduvalov. The second one was made by debutant –director Oleksiy Golub. And that is just the beginning. The band is going to film five songs from new album. So everyone will get even more positive energy and maximum drive from “Dymna sumish”.

In 2012 members decided to suspend the band activity because of "major issues in Ukrainian society" (official statement in Ukrainian).
