My name is Doug Moreland. I'm a west Texas fiddler, songwriter, and entertainer (and chainsaw artist!). I currently reside near Austin Texas, and travel throughout the state and abroad performing my own songs with an extremely talented, highly skilled, top-notch band. John Moreland (born 22June 1985) is an American singer-songwriter from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Moreland first debuted his name as a part of the Black Gold Band from 2006-2010, with a 2006 full-band demo, 2008's Endless Oklahoma Sky, and 2009's solo demo session falling in that time span before he decided to retire the Black Gold Band name. John continues to write and record music, and in 2010 will release Things I Can't Control under his own name. Artist Biography by Bill Dahl Oklahoma-born blues/rock singer, guitarist, and harmonica player. Part Cherokee Indian, Ace Moreland has cut two rocking discs at Bob Greenlee's Florida studios. Sizzlin' Hot, issued on King Snake in 1990, featured Edgar Winter on alto sax, while I'm a Damn Good Time, Moreland's 1992 follow-up, was released on Ichiban. Following 1996's Keepin' a Secret, Moreland spent the remainder of the decade out of the studio, finally returning in mid-2000 with Give It to Get It. AllMusic: Ace Moreland .

Moreland & Arbuckle, a blues duo, were founded in Kansas, in 2002. The group, consisting of guitarist Aaron "Chainsaw" Moreland, and vocalist/blues harp player Dustin Arbuckle, are signed to Toronto's NorthernBlues Music. They are known for their combination of rural blues, Delta, and Mississippi Hill Country styles. Moreland & Arbuckle saw their start after reaching the finals at the 2005 International Blues Competition in Memphis. .
