The Beatles were an iconic rock group from Liverpool, England. They are frequently cited as the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed band in modern history, with innovative music, a cultural impact that helped define the 1960s and an enormous influence on music that is still felt today. Currently, The Beatles are one of the two musical acts to sell more than 1 billion records, with only Elvis Presley having been able to achieve the same feat. After conquering Europe, with successful tours to Germany and Sweden, the Beatles led the mid-1960s musical 'British Invasion' into the United States. Although...
Black Beat (블랙 비트) was a boy band from South Korea formed in 2000. Black Beat belonged to SM Entertainment. A few of their members have appeared elsewhere, but for the most part their public appearances (and subsequent popularity) have been limited. This can be attributed to a number of things: the waning popularity of poppy rap and the decreasing amount of SM Entertainment's PR power (which since 2004 has focused on a few core groups and singers). They have produced numerous official remixes for artists like Pitbull, James Blunt, Ian Carey, Snoop Dogg, Freestylers, Flo Rida, Timbaland, Fatman Scoop, Alex Gaudino,...
More than one artist has used the name Satisfaction. Satisfaction (1) is an indie-rock quartet from Southern California formed in 2004. Satisfaction (2) was an English psychedelic jazz-rock band that released a self-titled album in 1971. Satisfaction (1) is made up of vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Mike Rosas, keyboardist Matthew Fletcher, bassist Aaron Wahlman, and drummer James Fletcher. Rosas and the two Fletchers played together as Smile before recruiting Wahlman and changing the band's name to Satisfaction. They still perform a few songs from the old Smile repertoire. Satisfaction is currently unsigned. They released "For Men and Women", a four-song demo EP of...
