Ancient Beatbox was the band of hurdy gurdy player Nigel Eaton and keyboard/drummachine/bagpipes player Paul James, and blended UK and mid-eastern folk tunes with electronic dance music. They released one album. Sheila Chandra sangs on one track ("Raining"). .

Beatbox Machinery were formed in February 2010 by Toxic Razor. Hardware synth electro soundscapes blended with analogue monophonic waves and digital analogue sequences.Everything is recorded with real hardware gear and there is no use of VST instruments or software plugins.
