Московский коллектив Meaning Beside образовался в 2005 году. Группа изначально выбрала за основу своего творчества стиль Melodic Death Metal, украсив его сильным чистым вокалом, а также, свойственными хардкору брейкдаунами. Коллектив постепенно укомплектовывался, приходили и уходили люди. В 2007 году группа записала на студии Навахо свой дебютный EP из 5 композиций. Этот релиз распространялся исключительно через интернет и был тепло принят слушателями. Группа дает концерты, активно репетирует; в середине 2008 года записиывает полноформатный альбом из 13 треков под названием "The Reaping", вышедший в последствии 29 апреля 09 года.
