1) Beloved (US): Beloved was an American post-hardcore band from Greensboro and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Beloved recorded and released their debut EP, The Running (on the now defunct Vindicated Records), when they were only in their teens (Josh was only 16 at the time of recording). They caught the attention of Solid State Records and shifted their sound towards melodic hardcore while retaining the emo influences of their youth. Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Halmstad, Sweden, formed in 1996. Founded by Carcass guitarist Michael Amott along with Johan Liiva, both originally from the influential death metal band Carnage. Archenemy (not to be confused with Arch Enemy from Sweden) were an underground death/thrash metal band from Los Angeles who released two rehearsal tapes in 1985 and 1986. Both have been reissued by Hells Headbangers Records. .
