C-Mon & Kypski is a four man band. They compose and produce their music in their own home studios. C-Mon & Kypski music goes from funk, rock to polka and is usually served with some hip-hop flavour. C-Mone states that one of her earliest memories is being 3 years old, singing and dancing constantly around the house and outside on the street for the neighbours and other kids. Producer C-Mon (Simon Akkermans) Is mainly known for his work with the innovative hiphop/turntablims duo C-Mon and Kypski. During their live performances the spotlights are mainly focused on Kypski's scratch abilities, and less on C-Mon's live producing. That is why Brian Elstak [known for his Dutch hiphop-theatre group 'Made in da Shade'] asked C-Mon to produce an album featuring a bunch of well known Dutch hiphop artists. C-Mon, always trying to stretch up some kind of boundary, took the hiphop label of the project and put it in a wider context. .
