There are two bands under the name Prologue. Prologue (Finland) Prologue is a band from Soukka in Espoo, Finland. The band was formed in the year 1998, and in the following year they played their first gig which obviously was a massive succé. The band recorded also their first demo tape in 1999. As an indierock band they are alternative pop music, but here the word "alternative" does not equal to complicatedness. The musical aim of Prologue has always been the sincere interpretation of Timo Miettinen´s songs. In the course of the band´s history, rough guitar walls have been replaced...

I've seen a couple of reviews that compare the LP to The Yellow Balloon and the comparison' wasn't too far off, though Hoffman's affection for the sitar and Grass' production touches gave this a far more distinctive psych edge. Musically the collection was pretty much divided between the two genres, though Grass added interesting production touches to virtually every track - 'Early Dawn' shifted from great harmony rich pop to a weird phasing segment and then back again. At least to my...
Garolou (initially called Lougarou) developed around the nucleus of the Lalonde brothers, Marc and Michel. Native Ontarians, the nomads reunited in 1974, as part of a theater troupe in Prince Edward Island. They soon found themselves in contact with first-rate musicians from the East Coast, notably guitarist George Antoniak and keyboardist Steven Naylor. With the addition of drummer Michel “Stan” Deguire, the first line-up moved to the Laurentians, and quickly set to the task of building up a repertoire of valid rock music with progressive overtones. They found their repertoire from an unlikely source: archives of French-Canadian traditional folk music...
