Turkish pop music singer and also composer, and bass guitarist. Born in 21th of October 1964 in Antalya (Turkey). His first album ( "Med Cezir" ) was released in 1993. And his last album ( "Kadın Şarkıları" ) has been released in April, 2006. .

Cenk is a band formed in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2004. The original lineup consisted of Fab, Soko and Xurxx. After recording a first demo ("First draft") they found their drummer Nico and recorded live a second one, "Congrès Extraordinaire des Nanophysiciens en Kilt". In 2005 comes their second guitarist Markass and record Canari Esquimau de Nonante Kilos and get rewarded as the third best rock'n'roll band in Switzerland by magazine "RealRocker". Cenk Taner is a turkish classic rock singer/songwriter and a founder member of the Turkish rock band Kesmeseker. After recording five LP's with Kesmeseker, he recorded an LP on his own in 2000, called "Izin Vermedi Yalnizlik". In this record, he primarily used acoustic guitars rather than using bass, drums and lead guitars like he did with his band. During his solo album period, other members of Kesmeseker left the band. In 2003 Kesmeseker was reunited with new members for only live performances. They are still playing together however they dont have any records. .
