Crazy Frog is a character used in the marketing of a ring tone based on The Weird Annoying Thing, a computer animation created by Erik Wernquist. Marketed by the ringtone provider Jamba!, the animation was originally created to accompany a sound effect produced by Daniel Malmedahl while attempting to imitate the sound of a two-stroke moped engine. The Crazy Frog spawned a worldwide hit single with a remix of Axel F, which reached the number one spot in the United Kingdom, Turkey, New Zealand, Australia and most of Europe. Crazy Dolls is an alternative, synthpop and pop rock duo from Rīga, Latvia formed as electronic and punk rock trio around 1995 and during time have changed their musical flow.
They have released two full length albums till split up in 2000. Latest of them LP Sveiciens published on Mapls in 2001 includes song Milžu cīņa of legendary Latvian band Dzeltenie Pastnieki. Some previous tracks are also included in local independent compilations.
In January 2010 they announced their reunite.

Easily the most cynical of the D.C. Dischord bands, Smart Went Crazy combine the Psychedelic Furs-like ironic and honest portraits of their surrounding scene with well-orchestrated, edgy punk in the vein of Shudder to Think.
