ctrlaltdelete was an instrumental post-rock band from Carlisle, England. The band was formed by members Ben Maxwell, Laura Harrison, and Chris Hewitt. In 2003, they released an ep titled epONE. In 2005, they released their follow-up Mondegreens. After the album's release, Maxwell and Harrison decided to end the band on a high note after the album received favorable reviews. CTRLer (controller) is the musical project of Spanish musician J. Influenced by european new electronic trends, CTRLer began experimenting with complex sounds after his experience in several bands, mainly in the industrial rock band Jennifer in Latex. He has been developing music based on distortion, fast loops and poweful breaks, but always with melody in mind.
