Kapelu FUNNY dala dohromady trojice členů Citronu na počátku 90. let. Byli jimi velmi mladý talentovaný zpěvák Franta "Fany" Michalík z Hustopeč nad Bečvou (kterého Citron objevil v novojičínských Metabox pro své album "Vypusťte psy"), basák Vašek Vlasák a kytarista Jindra Kvita (R.I.P.). Netrvalo dlouho a pod labelem Tommü Records vyšla eponymní deska, kde se ke zmíněné trojici představil ještě bubeník Dan Hafstein (mj. Kreyson). To se psal rok 1992. Kapela se na albu snažila určitým způsobem napodobit americkou street rockovou vlnu té doby a dá se říct, že produkce se celkem vydařila. Existence kapely neměla poté dlouhého trvání, zpěvák...

Songs are a Sydney based band (featuring members of New Zealand's post-punk wailers This Night Creeps and Ela Stiles of sisterly-duo The Said Sos) that do only simple things.
