Mindless Self Indulgence (or MSI) are an American Industrial rock band that found its origin in New York City, NY in 1997. The current lineup is Jimmy Urine (vocals), Steve Righ? (guitar), Lyn-Z (bass) and Kitty (drums). Though considered electropunk, they are heavily influenced by jungle, industrial, electronic dance music, and hip-hop. The Indulgers formed in Colorado after Dublin born and raised, Irish singer Damien McCarron had completed a solo recording project and decided to settle in the west. While recording at Alley Studios in Wheat Ridge, McCarron and producer Mike Nile formed a songwriting partnership and created an Irish rock band that continues to explore the boundries of the genre. Bronnt Industries Kapital is a musical project from Bristol, England, based around producer/multi-instrumentalist Guy Bartell. After an EP on the Silent Age Records label, Bronnt released its debut album, Virtute et Industria, in May 2005 on Static Caravan. Bartell occasionally writes material with long-time collaborator Nick Talbot aka Gravenhurst. Bronnt is known for its use of curious Victorian instruments, including Lepping’s Patented Lapwing Harmonium and the Bronson Quartet, both of which feature on the debut album.
