Moscow band J-Lobster was formed in 1993 and pretty soon began doing shows all over the city. Energized and dedicated live presence earned them a dedicated following in the club scene. J-Lobster’s music was a curios blend of indie-rock and funk and heavily relied on syncopated rhythms and off-kilter chord progressions.
