Fed Conti (aka Mahjong) was born in North West Italy and began his career in music in the late 90’s, moving to the UK in 2005 to launch his music production & publishing company Mahjong Music Ltd. Growing up as a jazz-rock musician, he played the Hammond organ and piano with artists such Zucchero Sugar Fornaciari, Benny Golson, Charles Bowen, Lannie McMillan, Mike Stern, Buster Williams, and Mel Gaynor from Simple Minds. The Spangle Maker is a musical project founded and led by Derek Power. Currently it consists of him and Amy Green. In the past, it has also included Natalie Garland and Andrew Thompson. It started in the greater Washington, D.C. area (Herndon, VA specifically) in May 2006 and currently resides in the greater Boston area after Power’s relocation in early 2009. The Spangle Maker is named after a song by Cocteau Twins and was an initial starting point for developing the project’s sound. Anders Rhedin aka Jong Pang, is a somewhat peculiar, acutely interesting, Danish experimental indie-electro-pop producer. An important figure on the Scandanavian indie scene for many years, Rhedin was involved in Danish band Moon Gringo from 1999-2004. Rhedin left the indie scene in 05 to take some time out, turning his attention to world, folk, spiritual and classical music. Combining these various musical styles with his trademark noise-pop sound, reminiscient of acts like Stereolab and My Bloody Valentine, Rhedin returned to the center stage in 2007 as Jong Pang.
