Lis Sørensen (born May 28th, 1955) is a Danish song writer, composer and singer. She has become one of the most popular singers in Danish rock music. Lis Sørensen has a formal education in classical music back in the 70s. Together with Anne Linnet she formed the girl group 'Shit & Chanel' and later the 'Anne Linnet Band'. She also worked with the composer Sebastian. She made her debut recording in 1983, which was followed by many others one of which 'Hjerternes Sang' (Song of the Hearts) sold in an impressive number. .
Bent Sørensen (born July 18, 1958) is a Danish composer. Sørensen studied composition with Ib Nørholm at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and with Per Nørgård at the Jutland Music Academy. Sørensen's mature works create a sense of decay that is emotionally similar to viewing an aging visual artwork. There is a sense of compromised beauty. Sørensen achieves this by treating major/minor tonalities with microtonal inflections and blurring the harmonies with glissandi.
