After his schooling in England, Bernard Oattes spent two years with a local Dutch band, Steam. The band was the catalyst that brought Bernard and writer/producer Rob van Schailk together. As partners, Bernard and Rob were the founding members of the pop band The Limit, writing and producing international dance hits. Bernard composed music for other pop-orientated groups, but writing and producning dance material alone became "limiting." Tao Lin is widely regarded as the Poet Laureate of Generation Y. Carles from HIPSTER RUNOFF blog is widely regarded as the subconscious voice of Generation Y. These two influential voices have come together to form “Jesus Christ.” (the indie band).

TGT were a one-off collaboration between Chris & Cosey and Lustmord. Their lone album, White Stains, appeared on Wax Trax! in 1990. TGT are usually referred to as a "parody" of late-80s industrial music, but their sound nevertheless resembled a more sample-heavy version of Chris & Cosey (albeit with Cosey's vocals heavily processed.) The 11-minute "Machine Gun", featuring many samples from Aliens, is likely their best-known product. .
This band embodies the post-punk, post-rock influences and an ethereal shoegaze lean that are represented from Capital nascent and seasoned rock stars. From Washington, D.C. (i.e. supposed think tank center of the world), the jogs and segues found throughout this release, “Night and Day”, sound measurably fantastic. “Because I am Haunted”, “Suite-T”, “Oh My Mind” are crafted deep with guitar echoes, diminished vocals, and repetitive drum ensembles that are very reminiscent of the early Brit shoegazer movement. Their sound elevates to pop levels with “Funny Cigarette” only briefly; any glimpse of pop stardom is weakened with the ambient and trippy...
