Krautschädl is an Austrian musicgroup from Wels (Upper Austria). Despite their name, the group cannot be considered a Krautrock act, but instead plays a mix of Rock, Funk, Ska and also draws a few influences from metal. The vocals are sung in Upper Austrian dialect. "Krautschädl" means "head of cabbage" ("Kohlkopf" in Standard German). In spring 2004 Krautschädl began playing concerts.
