Sleepaway is a fresh new face in the prestigious hardcore scene of Buffalo, NY. Their self-titled debut album was released on June 6th of 2006, and received positive reviews. Sleepaway has been compared to indie rock giants such as Jimmy Eat World, and The Get Up Kids. This band combines shimmering guitar sounds with smooth vocals and piano melodies reminiscent of late 90's alternative rock legends The Gin Blossoms and The Goo Goo Dolls. Pawa Up First started out as a recording project around 2001 and has since then evolved into a quintet mainly comprised of piano/synth, guitar, bass, drums and percussion with occasional collaborators including a horn section, guest vocalists and MCs.
