Esa-Pekka Salonen (born June 30, 1958 in Helsinki) is a prominent Finnish orchestral conductor and composer. He served as the chief conductor and music director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the orchestra with which he made his US debut in 1984. .
Pekka Pohjola (born January 13, 1952, died November 27, 2008) was an influential Finnish bass player, composer and band leader. His music could be categorized as progressive. His early solo records are heavily Zappa-influenced, but later he has developed his own, unique style. Some Finns even claim to hear a hint of Sibelius in his work. Pohjola was also a notable bass player, having played with Mike Oldfield and Made in Sweden in addition to numerous Finnish bands.

Jussi-Pekka Parikka lives in Tampere, Finland. His music is influenced by his environment - somehow it sounds like mother Russia and Scandinavia but in the end it's his own style; the cool & crispy Jussi-Pekka sound. In 2005 he started his own label Frozen North Recordings which stands for a clear and unique sound out of Tampere. Beside releasding his own tracks, he will give young talents a chance to establish themselves in the international club business.
