Since 1998, Chris Rosenau and Jon Mueller have worked together as Collections of Colonies of Bees. As a sidestep to their work in the group Pele (Polyvinyl Records), this arrangement saw them using traditional folk/bluegrass instrumentation combined with modern process and technology, creating a melting pot of style so refreshing, classification became meaningless. To date, there have been three full-length releases. Bareda helped form the Raw Collection with 4 other of Detroit's finest emcees (Lodown, Reddbone, Sky Scrilla, and Vanzetti). Raw Collection won several awards including Album of the Year in 2003 for Private Circle and Song of The Year for the street anthem "Talk That Shit Now" which appeared on the Anger Management Mixtape hosted DJ Green Lantern .

Collection d'Arnell~Andréa was founded in France in 1986 by Jean-Christophe d'Arnell and Chloé St Liphard. They released a first maxi record Autumn's Breath for Anton's Death on Valotte Records in 1988. From 1989 to 1994, Collection d'Arnell~Andréa released four LPs on New Rose Records, the French label of the eighties. The first LP, Un Automne à Loroy, is a funeral oration to the autumn where sobbing Cello and Chloé's voice stand out the record.
