Since forming in 1999, Reason 69 had four releases. The first of which, a split with local friends My Dad Joe, included 3 tracks by each band. Later the same year, the band created a 5 track EP by the name of P.T.D. (Punk Transmitted Disease). On the strength of these tracks, the band were signed by 20 Deck Records.
