Established in 1990 by trumpeter Pino Minafra Italian Instabile Orchestra became the first new jazz big band from Italy. Success at the Festival di Noci (an annual Italian jazz event) persuaded Pino Minafra to prolong the life of originally an ad hoc group organized only to play at this festival. The Golden Gate Jubilee Quartet, also commonly called the Golden Gate Quartet, is a vocal group formed in 1931 in Berkeley, Virginia.
