Future Breeze was formed out of Markus Boehme and Martin Hensing. They began with using an old computer to compose their music, until they eventually found themselves to be talented and decided to take it further, leading them to what they are now. Future breeze was originally called Synthetic compulsion, until they released "Read My Lips" under the artist title Future breeze. .

Sunset Travelers emerged from the split up off JW Roy's One Night Band. They regrouped as The Sunset Travelers with the addition of Nico Heilijgers on bass. In this setup they recorded one album, For The Sake Of It, in 2001. After that, Roel Spanjers went on to do a solo project, Birdcatcher, Richard van Bergen recorded as The Shiner Twins, and Nico Heilijgers and Jeroen Goossens played together with Chad Bucket. .

Singer/songwriter Martin Breeze started his musical education growing up in Adelaide, South Australia listening to his parents’ diverse musical tastes. It was anything from Blood, Sweat and Tears to Willie Nelson and Frank Sinatra. In 1990 he studied improvised music at Adelaide University that leaned heavily towards bebop. He played with a number of jazz groups whilst studying such as the ‘Angry Penguins’ and more notably ‘Hothouse’ with tenor saxophonist Andy Sugg.
