The Dutch band Cords that was founded in 1990 by Simone Holsbeek (vocals), Trush (formerly known as Maz) Morsink (guitar), Arnoudt Pieters (drums) and Marc Fabels (bass), found a very unique sound amidst influences such as Sonic Youth, Soundgarden,My Bloody Valentine and Smashing Pumpkins, which can be best described as noise rock-meets-psychedelia.
