Venezuelan pop singer who made it big in the late 80's and early 90's with hits like "Que Bello", "Deskarado", "Después De Ti", "Con Mi Cara Tan Lavada", "Quiero Un Angel", "Es El Amor", "Liberame" and "Luna De Plata". She's also acted in several venezuelan novelas.
Kiara is also the name of a R&B duo from Detroit who had top 10 R&B hits such as "The Best Of Me," "This Time" (duet with Shanice Wilson), "Every Little Time," and "You're Right About That" also during the late 80's and early 90's. .
LUCY MICHELLE AND THE VELVET LAPELLES are now FIELD TRIP
Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles formed in 2007 in Twin Cities, MN. Lucy received an ukelele as a gift so she started writing songs and decided to form the band.
According to their Twitter: "Combine a dash of equal parts; old-time, mountain, bluegrass, gypsy, rag, polka. folk., punk, pop, with the whistle of Andrew Bird."
They were Geoff Freeman (drums), Ashley Boman (accordion), Chris Graham (guitar), Jesse Schuster (bass), Eamonn McLain (cello) and Lucy Michelle (vocals and ukelele).

The Chantelles were a 60s British girl group whose close harmonies in some of their songs called to mind the style of 50s groups like the Chordettes and the Maguire Sisters. .
Four young guys who ran away from home to form a band, and the result was The Michelles. They have a highly international feel, Tim is from America, Graeme is Welsh and Gustaf is from Sweden leaving Marc as the only Englishman amongst them.
The current line up has been in place since November. They’ve had major label interest, are set to release their first single in April, along with a video to be shown on mtv2.
