Therion, formerly known as Blitzkrieg (1987-1988) and Megatherion (1988), is a symphonic metal band founded by Christofer Johnsson in Upplands Väsby, Sweden in 1987. Therion was initially a death metal band, however starting with 1995’s Lepaca Kliffoth, Therion began to gradually incorporate symphonic elements into their metal music. Hilastherion started back in 2003 when Anders Olin and William Rönn came together and pondered about an idea to create a band as melodic as possible together with uplifting lyrics. Anders composed some songs (Taken from Darkness, Jesus rules and See The Pain in His Face) and pretty fast William came up with some good music to them. Also their first gig was at a local club during that fall. Then everything halted for some months until Anders met guitar virtuoso Niclas Buss and asked him if he was interested in joining forces with Hilastherion. Happily he accepted the offer...

An industrial Gothic Rock/Gothic Metal band formed by Seth Artaud and Jawa, from the now disbanded group Garden of Delight. The band continues to play in the style that G.O.D. established in their Lutherion trilogy, but with some song lyrics in German.
