There is more than one artist with the name "Transit" 1) Transit was an American pop-punk group based out of Boston, MA along the lines of Taking Back Sunday, Saves The Day, Crime In Stereo, Balance & Composure, Polar Bear Club, and Hot Water Music. The Transit Kings are a British electronic music group consisting of Alex Paterson, Guy Pratt and Dom Beken. Jimmy Cauty, co-founder of The Orb with Paterson, was involved in initial recording sessions but does not take part in live sessions. He is currently on "extended leave".
