Revolution Void is the electronic-jazz music project of 24-year-old DJ and producer Jonah Dempcy. Jonah began Revolution Void back in 1996 at the age of 12. The initial sound of Revolution Void was funky breaks and bigbeat, influenced by The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy and Fatboy Slim. Revolution Void had a somewhat more lo-fi aesthetic than these artists, however, due in large part to the fact that Jonah produced music using MOD programs such as FastTracker2. VOID CoNSTRUCT was formed in Southampton, England in about 1999 by Scott Walker (vocals) and Vicky Halliday (live synths) Their first two albums to date were released on Cryonica Records (run by London-based Inertia). Estramay Aleph demonstrated their creativity and, drawing on influences such as Haujobb, Front 242 and Front Line Assembly, their perverse sense of melody.
