Башня Rowan [Bashnya Rowan] (eng. Rowan Tower) was formed in 1995 by Tikkey A. Shelyen, poet and singer, who was strongly linked to St.-Petersburg folk rock bands like Птица Си [Ptitsa Si] (eng. Si Bird) and Р*ождество [R*ozhdestvo] (eng. Christmas). This band has changed many times, but has mainly consisted of Tikkey (acoustic guitar, vocal), the violinist, bassist, and drummer. Since 1999 they have also included the keyboardist and guitarist sometimes. The members of the band now are: Tikkey A. Shelyen, Alina Zaitseva (keyboard), Anna Kostikova (violin), Vladimir Yanovskiy (bass), Andrey Charupa (drums), Nikita Trubitsyn (saxophone) and Stas Valishin (administrator)....
