Formed in June 2002, LAST ALLIANCE (ラスト・アライアンス, Rasuto Araiansu) is a indie/post punk revival band consisting of four members: Ryusuke Anzai (vocals and guitar), Takahiko Matsumara (vocals and bass), Shingo Sano (guitar), and Hiroshi Ozawa (drums). They are based in Machida, Tokyo. Their song "Shissou" (meaning "Sprint") is well-known for being the music played during the closing credits after every episode of popular anime Ouran High School Host Club. Their most recent album is titled "Keep on smashing blue", released on 27.10.2010. .

The Southern Alliance was born in 2005 from the collaboration of dj/producers Kriss and Limo as the perfect blend of different techno, deep and minimal styles melted together with peculiarly suggestive tunes and sounds.
