Simargl (in cyrillic transcription) is pagan/folk metal from Kirovo-Chepetsk, Russia. The founders of the group are Mikhail Shkedin (guitar), Evgeniy Vorobyov (vocals), Artem Timshin (keyboards), Vadim Timshin (bass), Alexej Kultyshev (drums). The first demo of "Pesn' Slovena" is in the summer of 2004, consisting of 8-tracks, and amounting to a total of about 22 minutes. At the same time with the release of first demo recording, due to personal reasons the band goes Evgeniy Vorobyov (vocals).
