A very versatile Mexican band in the 70's. The Band was formed in the Mexican state of Campeche. They performed in many shows in the famous Artistic-Platform called "Siempre en Domingo' hosted by Raul Velasco. Their popularity diminished when their main Singer Ruben Baeza left the band. They have been playing at the Rhythm of CUMBIA songs as well as ROMANTIC music. Some of their HITS being played in the Hispanic Radio Stations included: "Chilito Piquin","Mambo #8", "Vamos a platicar", "Mira lo que son las cosas" (Yaco Monti), and the song of the new millenum... Spinetta y Los Socios del Desierto fue un trío formado por Luis Alberto Spinetta en guitarra, Daniel Wirtz en batería y Marcelo Torres en bajo. Tuvo lugar en la segunda mitad de los 90 con un sonido que alcanzaba niveles finisimos de sutileza y a la vez podía moverse con la misma justeza tocando un rock mas "podrido". Ritmo Intacto came alive due to a colaboration between Dutch producer and the owner of The Musix Studio Jeroen Verhaeg and Dutch producer and Percussionplayer Paul van den Broek. The colaboration started late 2003 when Jeroen and Paul decided to combine and work out some of their musical ideas. The album they planned to make had to be fat, loungy and groovy... They started writing and recording in september 2004. .

Ritmo Alegria is a salsa group formed by Fayyaz Virji, a founder member of the Jazz Warriors who had also played with Incognito and the Jools Holland Big Band. Colombian singers Alfonso de Jesus and Elpidio Caicedo provide vocals. .

From the sweltering tropical depths of Cali, Colombia Will ‘Quantic’ Holland’s studio band Los Miticos Del Ritmo (The Mythics of Rhythm) return with an album of hip shaking, dancefloor quaking instrumental cumbias. Released on CD, LP and download on the 30th April. The LP is 100% analogue and comes with an original screen-printed front cover designed by the London based artist Lewis Heriz. Assembled using vallenato and cumbia musicians living in Cali, Los Miticos del Ritmo are a 7 piece studio band put together by British musician, producer and now Colombian resident Will ‘Quantic’ Holland.
