Gewapend Beton started out in 2003 and released their first demo CD-r ''Embryo Punk'' the same year. Then the band recorded 7 songs in 2004 and it took almost a year before the split LP with the Bakfiets Boys "Nederpunk Gaat Door" came out. After lots of cool shows and touring trough Europe the band went back to the studio again in 2007 to record their first full length LP/CD ''17 Until We Die''. Betong hysteria is often refered to as Norways first hardcore punk band. The band was formed in Oslo in 1981 by vocalist Geir Brurok, who was already known in the norwegian punk scene for his fanzine «The Moron», three former members of a punk band called Kaare og partiet and Carl O.S.
