Polak are brothers Piotr Fijalkowski (ex- singer/ guitarist with Adorable) and Krzys Fijalkowski (of the Bardots), who live in Brighton and Norwich respectively and unrespectably. They were formed on a bored Boxing Day (December 26) in a pub near the family home. The half-drunken idea became a half-drunken reality, with the recording "Not Listening," Polak's first, and to date only, track recorded in Brighton, England. .

Funky Polak is a Polish-American rapper, born in 1975, Kielce, Poland. He is also a co-founder of dancing group, Broken Glass. He has been awarded as European champion in breakdance - electric boogaloo dance. His lyrics are motivated on his experiences as a Polish immigrant in Chicago. Many Polish-Americans may relate to the subject of his lyrics, since most of them started their "new" lives in United States the same way. Jakub Polak (c. 1545 - c. 1605; also known as Jakub Reys and Jacques le Polonois) was a Polish lutenist and composer. Notable for his service as court lutenist to Henry III of Poland and France.[1] Initially one of the court musicians of Kraków, after Henry III fled Poland he joined him in Paris in 1574. He was an author of several lute compositions, most notably preludies, fantasies, dances and several chansons. During his lifetime he was renowned for his lute improvisations. .
