Serbian solo singer Divna Ljubojevic sings either alone or subtly accompanied by a vocal ensemble, performing a variety of Serbian, Byzantine and Russian liturgical chants. Samodiva is a Russian folk rock band from St. Petersburg, Russia. Maria Smolia and Natalia Dudova found the band on 14th of December 2006. Later a bass player and guitarist joined the band and were replaced by others, currently Igor Ashenbrener is playing bass and Pavel Alexeev is on guitar; in late 2007 after some gigs with session drummers Sergey Svitko joined the band as a permanent member responsible for percussion.
