Jukka Ruohomäki is a veteran in electronic music. He started on analogue equipment at the end of 1960's, worked with music through the 70's, made computer graphics in the 80's and began composing music again in 1994, after sixteen years of silence. Ruohomäki makes music with computers, and his method is based entirely on hearing. Bird song, human voices or steel plate scratching can all serve as basic material which is then worked into music. This is usually an extensive and time-consuming process. Ruohomäki does not use traditional pulse-based rhythmics, harmonics or notation. Instead, he listens to his sound material...

Jukka Kuoppamäki (born September 1, 1942 in Helsinki, Finland) is a Finnish composer and a singer. He's the composer of quite a few Finnish evergreens like "Sininen ja valkoinen" (Blue and White), "Kultaa tai kunniaa" (Gold or Honour) and "Satulinna" (Fairytale Castle). Nowadays Jukka lives in Dortmund, Germany. He has taken part with eight songs in the Finnish preselections of the Eurovision Song Contest between 1971 and 2009.
