Musically, Austin has taken years of piano lessons learning what he has instinctively picked up as well as learning new things in composition. He has taken a college course to learn more about Digital Audio Workstations. He has learned to use state of the art composition programs such as Cubase SX and Gigastudio throughout the years for his creativity to be realized.

Working for Digipen Institute, Austin had a lot of fun creating the music for Fight Zone and Eskimo Kisses. Fight Zone was a first person shooter set in a futuristic setting and the music consisted of a mix of Techno and Rock. Eskimo Kisses was a social simulation game similar to "The Sims" which takes place in the artic. The music was made up of mostly electric textures and acoustic instruments. From doing these two games, Austin has had more experience understanding how music works in a game.

Austin is having a great time working with Phoenix Online Studios on his biggest game yet, The Silver Lining. He is looking forward to the future of Phoenix Online Studios as well as how he can impact the Video Games Industry!
