Black Gold 360 is ubiquitious UK producer Simon Sixsmith who has roots deeper than most: born out of Dutch underground scene of the 1990s. First as a founding member of Puha Hu$tlers who created the now legendary 'Bloodshot' nights; then as an original member of Electric Puha - a production trio who preformed live as a fifteen piece dance band that wooed Holland from 1999 to 2005. In 2004 Sixsmith began the record label Beluga Recordings with fellow Puha producer Stevie D. The label has releases over 20 albums with a reular show on Dutch TV showcasing underground music and video talent.

Since 2006 Sixsmith turned his attention towards his twin loves of jazz and electronica. Under the name Black Gold 360 he released his eponymous first solo album in 2006. The jazz meets dirty electronica style of the album was well received by the press across Europe. Now, in 2008, Black Gold 360 releases a 2nd album "Suite Seventeen." Due out in July. Continuing the jazz meets electronica theme, for this project Black Gold 360 sees the addition of experienced jazz musicians Coen Kaldeway (sax, flute, bass-clarinet), Bob Roos (drums) and Lucas Dols (bass).

It's a jazz band, but wait, it's a DJ spinning magic. You know the deal in 2008 everything is real. This one sweeps and swoons, leaving you dancing under the moon.
