2004. Cornflakes Heroes began as a side project for Toma, whose primary band was Sexual Aid Kit. Quickly joined by David from the pop/rock band Western Pilot, they decided to work on some songs together. After playing with the line-up for a year, Vincent was recruited to play drums and Claire was given bass duties.
Two or three months of rehearsing either in Caen or in Paris led to the recording of their first album, «off with your heads !», in July 2005. Then the full-fledged Cornflakes Heroes wanted to defend their brand new self-released album on stage, playing in venues such as the Pop In and the Truskel in Paris, the Emporium Galorium in Rouen, opening for New Model Army at the Big Band Café in Caen...
In december 2006, and thanks to Michel M., «off with your heads !» was officially re-released on Greed Recordings. After a bunch of shows in 2007 (Divan du Monde, Glaz'art, Mondo Bizarro, El Inca, Fleche D'or, Klub,...), they're now planning to record their second full-length album in October. Stay tuned! .
