Recorded at a home studio the DIY way, Easyway's 2001 7-track demo made the rounds in the Portuguese musical underground. The shows promoting this demo led to two dozen concerts by the end of that year. The band has come a long way since then!

After the release of their 2004 debut album, “Forever in a day”, mixed in Los Angeles by the producer Cameron Webb (Godsmack, Limpbizkit, Danzig, etc.) the band released records and/or toured in Brazil, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Japan as well as their own country, Portugal, where their video for the first single, “Forever in a Day”, remained on the Top 10 of MTV Hitlist Portugal for 15 weeks, reaching positions 2 and 3, and the second, “That’s Not The Right Way” entered straight into the 6th position.

Their follow-up album “Can you keep a secret?” did even better in 2006: ”. The single “Hush Baby” was number one in the new entries of the national top chart, and the video entered directly into the number 1 slot of TOP WORTEN at SIC Radical TV station and number 7 of MTV Hitlist. Meanwhile the band played with Backyard Babies, Toy Dolls and the Offspring and toured extensively as well as playing festivals like Super Bock Super Rock alongside Turbonegro and The Hives.

The same year they signed a worldwide deal with Universal Publishing, releasing records in Japan, The Netherlands, Belgium and Spain.

2008 is the year of emancipation, during which the band has upped the ante and produced not only a new, more mature album, but also a full length motion picture to accompany it. But for now, hush-hush, further details on that adventure shall come soon enough...

"So what’s all the excitement about? And is it justified? Well yeah… “Forever In A Day” is chock full of uptempo pop punk tracks with some great hooks, nice vocal harmonies and comes with a vocalist who sounds a lot like Millencolin’s Nikola. In fact, if you’ve enjoyed the last couple of Millencolin albums, then you should dig “Forever In A Day” as well." www.punkrocktheory.com (Belgium)

" “Forever In A Day” is so shamelessly fantastic it is beyond the point of being ridiculous" - www.europunk.net (band of the Month)

"Impressed? You will be. If you've never heard the name Easyway now's the time to take note. "Forever in a Day" is a glorious slice of melodic pop-rock goodness. (...) Time for Portugal to take over the world's rock scene, perhaps? It could happen. There is not a bad track on "Forever in a Day" (...) Easyway are easily the way to go." 5/5 www.blackvelvetmagazine.com (UK)
