There are numerous bands with this name (there is also a band called TheForgotten, which is a punk band, if this shows up, you need to re-tag the artist!) :

1) A death metal band from Bandung, Indonesia.

Forgotten was formed in 1994 in Ujungberung, Bandung. In 1997 they released their first album "FUTURE SYNDROME". The debut album was released under Palapa Records. On March, 1998 they released an album promo single which included the two songs called "Obsesi Mati Promo Tape 98". In the midst of the hustle and bustle of compiling various projects, Ferly guitar player quitted.

In 2000 the full album of "Obsesi Mati" (Death Obsession) was released under Extreme Soul Productions. After the releasing of the album, the drummer resigned and his position was taken by Andris from Disinfected / Burgerkill. In 2001 they released the controversial mini-album "Tuhan Telah Mati" (GOD IS DEAD ) in the form of cassettes. In 2002 the bass player Kardun resigned and he was replaced by Dicky.

In 2003 Forgotten released an album “Tiga Angka Enam” (Triple Sixth) under Rottrevore Records. In 2004 Andris (drums) resigned from his position and he was replaced by Hendra. In 2005 Hendra was replaced by Rifki.

In the year 2008, the album “Tiga angka Enam” (Triple Sixth) was re-released by Rottrevore Records in a CD form. In 2008 Gagan joined the band as a guitarist. In June 2011, the album “Laras Perlaya” (Song of Death) was re-released by Rock Records.

2) Forgotten (NLD), founded and fronted by Weltschmerz (Vocals / Instruments) with support of various session members. Forgotten has officially released one demo so far, which has been released as a free download on Last.fm. Weltschmerz is currently still working on multiple albums and will likely self-release them, until support from a proper label is found, as both printed copies and (eventually) free downloads.

4)Forgotten (Turkiye)

FORGOTTEN was formed in 1995 by Tolga(Guitars) and Serdar(Drums). By the meantime Can(Guitars) and Bülent(Vocals) joined the band and Forgotten gained speed. In April 1995 the staff changed; Ekrem(Guitars), Cengiz(Vocals) and Kazim(Bass guitars) joined the band. Then in 1997 Kazim and Serdar left the band. Instead of them Volkan(Ex.Tears of Beggar/Bass guitars) and Emrah(Ex.Autumn/Drums) joined the band.

Through the end of the year 1997 by the help of Orkut Esber(Autumn's Guitars&Vocals) in keyboard they recorded their first demo "CONQUER".This demo was awarded as the second best demo of 1998 in Turkey. 1000 copies of the demo was sold and it received very good comments from both Turkey and abroad.

Through the end of the year 1998 Cengiz and Volkan left the band and Barış(Vocals) and Enis(Keyboards) joined the band. With it's new staff, consisting of Baris, Ekrem, Tolga and Enis; Forgotten recorded their second demo "RETREAT". This demo's idea was just promotion and it received awesome reactions from the world and from heavy metal press.

Between 1999 and 2001 the band could do nothing because of Tolga's military duty. In 2002 they put their two demos with three new songs under the name of "THROUGH THE FIELDS OF BATTLE 1006-1999" on the market(by Innsmouth Productions). 750 copies of this product was sold especially in the foreign countries.

After Tolga's return in 2002 Forgotten decided to gather again; but it did not happen unfortunately because of their private lives.

After that they decided to gather again in 2005 but because of Ekrem's unexpected military duty again it did not happen.

After Ekrem completed his military service, Forgotten reunited and released their new promo "With the Victory" and the band is currently known to be on a hard series of concerts.
