Throughout 2005 and 2006 singer/guitarist Dave Bell and guitarist, Joseph (Mole) Middleton had a plan of forming a band together. During that time, nothing advanced from the thoughts and it remained just the two of them until summer 2006, when Dave was invited to lead a band in a venue, at the large Christian Celebration ‘Grapevine’. Dave agreed and was quick to ask Mole to join him, which just left them the task of finding the remaining members of their band. Dave’s Dad assisted in the search and told him of a young drummer from Cambridge he had heard about named Josh Campbell and informed him he was ‘red hot’, Dave and Mole were interested and agreed that he would be the one to join them for Grapevine at least. At the first practice for the event he didn’t fail to impress and three quarters of the band fell together.

After finding a bass player for Grapevine the lads decided that they would continue as a band.
It soon became apparent that the band would need more than just temporary solution to their Bass player problem! They contacted a friend from nearby and advanced onwards and upwards, calling themselves 'Halfway There'.

With a one week tour line up Stateside 'Halfway There' are one band that are surely destined for greater things! .
