Jennie Muskett has established an International reputation as a film composer, having written scores for Miramax, Paramount, Disney, IMAX, the BBC and many more, including the scores for the “The Prince and Me” and a forthcoming HBO (untitled) movie, both directed by Martha Coolidge.

In addition, Muskett’s score for the hit BBC series “SPOOKS” (MI-5) earned her two BAFTA nominations and her trademark theme clearly identifies this popular program.

Born and raised in a musical family, Jennie Muskett trained at the prestigious Royal College of Music. By chance, the opportunity to spend several months in the Kalahari Desert became a turning point and this first inspiring encounter with the natural world led to countless commissions from many of the worlds most renowned natural history film makers. Jennie’s work in this area has inevitably received worldwide praise, winning her 2 Emmy’s and 5 Emmy nominations. Jennie’s passion for the environment and her fascination with the natural world inspired a unique and diverse ethnicity in her work, and provided
a myriad of opportunities to explore and develop original and innovative ways to write. This originality and flair is evident in her high profile British scores, most recently for BBC Films critically acclaimed and exquisite MISS AUSTEN REGRETS, the forthcoming COMPULSION starring Ray Winston,
and the Golden Globe nominated series, THE STATE WITHIN.

Jennie has a studio in LA and another in Highgate, London and divides her time between Hollywood and England, working in both Film and TV.
