There are at least two groups named Loner:

1) Loner (a.k.a. Geoff Smith) makes atmospheric, mysterious and beautiful music that Geoff describes as sounding like "piano-based, Cohen-style acoustics, dramatic, emotive, darkly genius, 'fuzzed up moodscapes', haunting vocals.....think along the lines of Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Aphex Twin."

2) Loner 2008: we were allways about friends making music and living their lives at the same time. Seba couldnt find the time and the energy anymore to keep on playing, so we had to say goodby to our drummer! We wish him the best with his new family and ofc with the boys from Shedai. We tried out some drummers and are proud to say that we found a very worthy replacement in the form of Alladin. His drumstyle will only bring more power into our crossoverstyle and we all feel that this was the missing link. We gonna make some new songs and hit the studio afterwards. This is the kinda metal we allways wanted to make and we feel as passionate as ever about it!
