Pioneering rosarina band of the Argentine Rock. Originally baptized the “Wild Cats”, in 1964 they sang in English in celebrations and like teloneros of groups arrived from Buenos Aires. In the repertoire they were the songs of Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley. Little by little, and with the arrival of Litto Nebbia, they went incorporating own subjects (as much in English as in Castilian), until alternating a style to The Hollies, The Beatles and The Animals closest.

At the beginning of 1965 they arrive at Buenos Aires and they are contracted to appear in television programs and to record several simple ones, already with the name the Wild Cats. The first long duration (“the Wild Cats”, 1965) includes ten own subjects and covers of the Rolling Stones: “Under the boulevard” and “Little Network Rooster”.

“Except for the inclusion of a subject in English, this one is the first local disc of music 100% beat in Castilian, since the first songs of Litto were not mere translations or imitations of English bands (...) the then writing by Litto Nebbia today can seem too simple or ingenuous, but was the point of the spear of the rock in Argentina, that happened to occupy the place that the tango had left vacant for the young generation” (M.Fernández Bitar).

The letters did not have a great content. On the contrary: they were basically songs of love, but without falling in common places. Without support of the recorder, approximately 900 units were sold. The record company entered an economic crisis which it could not leave, the group went away being gradually without work and their members became a reframing. Only Ciro and Litto decided to follow ahead with music. The rest, became to Rosary.

In 1967 the band already changes of name and formation: with Nebbia, Fogliatta, Alfredo Toth in the low one, Kay in guitar and Oscar Moor in action, are red-baptize like the Cats.

In 1994 it was published a live compilation under the Low name of “the boulevard”, that includes the subject homónimo, a several simple and presentation in the program of 13 Canal “the Musical Scale”.

When being fulfilled 40 years of its launching, Melopea reedited “the Wild Cats” with the original LP, subjects of the simple ones, live fragments of the television program “the Musical Scale” and other peculiarities.
