Los Nuevos Shains | en

The Shains are a Peruvian rock icon, a band that started as many imitators as the British sound, way to surf and garage. From its founding in 1964 did not stay for any edition of this last record. Were several musicians who passed through the band, as the brothers Juan Luis and Raul Preyra, bassist Pico Ego Aguirre, but not be enshrined until the incorporation of one of the most remarkable figures of the scene of Peru, Gerardo Manuel, who Dolton leaves to `s to join the Shains. Like most Latin bands, as the sixties progressed their sound was closer to the psychedelic sound and Stone. In this last stage interpreted covers of Cream, Blind Faith, Jefferson airplain and Hendrix among others. An interesting album that brings together the singles of the last training between 1969 and 1970, with a great performance quality but Gerardo Manuel. Met by 2005.

Los Shains son un icono del rock peruano, una banda que como muchas partio como imitadores del sonido britanico, paso al surf y al garage. De sus fundadores en 1964 no quedo ninguno para la edicion de este ultimo registro. Fueron varios musicos los que pasaron por la banda, como los hermanos Juan Luis y Raul Preyra, el bajista Pico Ego Aguirre, pero no se consagrarian sino hasta la incorporacion de una de las figuras mas notables de la escena del Peru, Gerardo Manuel, quien abandona a los Dolton`s para incorporarse a los Shains. Como la mayoria de las bandas latinas, conforme avanzaron los sesenta su sonido se fue acercando a la psicodelia y al sonido Stone. En esta ultima etapa interpretaban covers de Cream, Blind Faith, Jefferson Airplaine y Hendrix entre otros. Un disco curioso que reune los singles de la ultima formacion entre 1969 y 1970, con una gran calidad interpretativa pero sin Gerardo Manuel. Se reunieron por el 2005.
